Concrete flatwork, curbs and structural concrete
Slabs, foundations and pads, curb and gutter, flowlines, structural concrete, and decorative stamped and colored finishes.

MGB Construction began in 2001 as the place-and-finish concrete division of our sister company, City Service Paving, Inc. Concrete is where we started, and it remains a core part of the work.
Concrete is a rigid pavement: the slab itself carries most of the load. That makes it the material of choice for curbs, gutters, flowlines, pads and other places where strength and a fixed shape matter. We build it for commercial properties and homeowners alike, from warehouse floors to backyard patios.

Water management is concrete work
Over-spray from irrigation, leaky sprinklers and inadequate run-off batter pavement over time, causing potholes, puddling, cracking and eventually sub-grade failure. The best prevention is a properly designed water run-off system.
Proper sloping and well-built concrete flowlines carry water off the pavement before it soaks in. A good run-off system can save a property owner a lot of money in future maintenance.

Do you do residential concrete work?
Yes. Alongside commercial work, our customers have hired us for patios, driveways, walkways, steps and stamped concrete. Several of their reviews are on our testimonials page.
Can you match an existing concrete finish?
Tell your estimator what you need to match. One homeowner's review notes that our crew “even matched the textured finish of my existing driveway.”
Why do flowlines matter for a parking lot?
Standing water and run-off are among the biggest causes of pavement damage. Flowlines and proper slope move water off the surface before it can reach the base and sub-grade.
Do you build ADA curb ramps?
ADA upgrades are part of our asphalt and striping services, and our concrete crews build the curb ramps and flatwork those upgrades involve, including detectable warning surfaces.

Asphalt or concrete? How the two pavements differ
One flexes and relies on its base. The other is a stiff slab that carries the load itself. Here's what that means for your project.

Why is my pavement failing?
Raveling, fatigue cracks, potholes and gray, brittle asphalt each point to a different cause. Here's how to read the signs.
